This app was developed as part of the Erasmus+ KA220 Strategic Partnership project.
The four priorities were:
- Inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through the wellbeing app.
- Digital transformation of youthwork
- Increase quality and innovation of youthwork
- Reinforce the link between practice and research.
The project objectives were:
- To develop and pilot test an application that supports young people acquire better understanding of PMH and learn skills to improve this, lhow to cultivate positive attitude, and how to actively take responsibilities for their own mental health. They will also learn how to search for help and support when help is needed
- To involve 150 young people from 5 countries in the piloting of the beta version of the application
- To develop a training curriculum for youth workers that will enable them to be able to perform mentoring/support for the young people who use the application. 25 youth workers were trained in the use of the application and its online mentor function.
The project results are:
- the development of a wellbeing app (mobile) that will support young people’s Positive mental health
- a training course curriculum for youth workers that aids them in their transition to digitalisation of youth work, specifically regarding PMH promotion. The app will give opportunity to youth workers to engage and interact with young people who use the app.
